If your cat is quite old and has arthritis can you do a test on her/him for me please?

Or even if yours is younger and well.

My cat is 16, has 3 things wrong with her and I am worrying about her again. I just watched her go upstairs and it was like she was limping with her back right leg up on the next step. Having not watched her go up the stairs much before I don't know if this is how they go upstairs Blush.

I couldn't find her today and she has refused her tea so it is one big worry for FABCat.

Old lady cat owner here with chronic renal failure, hyperthyroidism and arthritis.

Is she jumping up as normal? Is she sleeping more? Is she playing less? All are signs of arthritis in the cat.

I know that she has arthritis and now has medication for it. Yesterday she fell off the chair when trying to get up to get on the kitchen table. She sleeps a lot but always has and still plays occasionally. She smelt like soggy dog the other night when asleep next to me!
