hi. i've had cats on and off all my life.

last night my six month old tom was doing that biting/itching thing at the end of spine/base of tale and then he made this weird loud long noise like catcalling and then the sofa where he was sitting was covered in fluid. liquid sick? spray? urine?

i have no clue where it came from or what the noise was about unless it was gagging or something.

he had petline on him on the 21st but bit late for a reaction to that i'm thinking.

anyone seen this before or know what it is?

apologies for random post Blush

i have booked her in to get neutered next thursday, burning her mite be a bit extreme!!

I'd burn both satan and the cat. The cat could be her familiar so better to be safe than sorry.

Not your cat Clayre, that one's safe for now Grin

Phew! After phoning the vet she has curled up in a ball and is sleeping soundly, I think she knows she has a trip to the vet next week!

my cat had one in the same spot that kept reappearing and on one occasion was very deep so i brought him to the vet and she gave me ABs for him and an ointment to put on it to drain out the nfection... she reckoned there was a tiny bit of dirt/part of cat that attacked him lodged in it and that's why it didn't respond to salt water.

Generally salt water does the trick but just keep an eye on it in case Smile
