Cattery recommendations- Harrow/NW London/South Herts

Can any of you knowledgeable mumsnetters recommend anywhere? I am happy with the way our current place looks after the cats, but they are starting to annoy me with their obscure opening times/inflexibility/rudeness. I want to find somewhere else lovely for the cat before I tell them to stick it! Any thoughts?

Willbean, I have used Allseasons Cattery which is Potters Bar, South Mimms, just off the M25 (I think J24/23). You can google it.

I know this year with Christmas Day being a Saturday, a lot of catteries are saying you have to leave your cat from Christmas Eve. We're not going away until 27th and there is no way I would be without my pusses on Christmas Day, so I'm getting someone to come in and feed them while we're away instead. NOt sure if this is the same problem you're having.

Thank you I will have a look. We have had a few problems with our place but the most recent one is that we are away for Christmas but back on 30th and would like to collect her. But they are only open on the morning of theb 30th (when we won't be back) and then not until 4th January, so she is stuck there for four extra days! Poor thing.

Seems to be same problem, that catteries are not open between Christmas and New Year so you have to be prepared to leave (and pay) for your cats for longer than you need. Since they tend to charge double for bank holidays anyway, they are making a lot of money.
