I just had to bath my cat - that was fun!

Cat has just come home from her morning out with her lovely white and black paws literally dripping with smelly black mud. I think she may have been exploring a ditch....
Anyway it was just too much yo leave her so we ran some water in the basin and dunked her in to wash off the worst. Mission a success though it took two of us to get all her legs in the water at the same time!
She has such a lovely nature - she never laid a claw on either of us Smile My old cat would have had your leg off for such an imposition. Of course now she has to send the whole day sorting herself out.....Grin

Glad to hear she's so amenable! I had to bath ours once when she jumped on to the work surface, into a tray of vegetable oil (luckily it had cooled after cooking roast potatoes) which she promptly sat in.

She went nuts and I got really scratched but I think she'd have been really sick if she'd been left to clean up on her own.

THey are daft aren't they? Definately not that much looking before leaping. THankfully she hasn't found the same mud today!

My cat decided that the bath was very interesting and one day after much sitting, staring, and contemplating, jumped in of his own accord trying to attack the bathroom drain. Grin

He scratched my back so deeply when he then made his bid for safety that I'm ashamed to say I chased him round the house naked and dripping wet shouting profanities at him. Blush Would've laid into him had I gotten hold of him.

I had to shower mine the other week, he was petrified but I just scruffed him and hosed him down. I decided not to pursue the original plan of using shampoo as well.
