The mum's owner told me she had preventatively treated them the morning of the day we brought them home (they had a greasy neck to prove it lol). However, they've been scratching a lot the last couple of days and the vet has confirmed - they're riddled :(

He's given me advocate to use, which I did, I really tried to get it on the skin too so I really hope it did. However, what do I do now? They've been restricted to the lounge, what's the best way to clean everything?

Should I get a comb? Without meaning to sound dumb, will a nit comb do lol? Will they have got all through the house? Will I have then? ARghhhhhh

I mean to say, they were already restricted to the lounge, although have had one or to escapes to the kitchen/hall briefly lol.

Hi you will probaly notice the cats/kittens are very itchy/agitated but that the fleas are dropping off.
Have had the same problem with our new kittens-riddled with fleasSad
would recommend monthly flea treatments, lots of vacuuming !
Also monthly worming of kittens until 6 months . hope this helps . we adopted are 2nd kitten today-he is so cute a real cuddlebug!
