SSshh! Don't tell her. I have seen the other thread about the sleepless nights of excitement. I have no desire to go through that with dd1.

Ah. just thouht, I have never had a female cat before. What is the recommended age for spaying? I have no desire to add to the ever growing population of unwanted cats. It's five months old, do I need to make the appoinment now?

Call your local vet and see when they will book her in. It varies between vets but some will neuter as early as 4 months now.
