Brought home our latest little bundle of fluff and joy yesterday - a 15 week old grey and white DSH. Gorgeous.

She has been here 24 hours now, and has not used the litter tray, and I can't find any puddles or wet patches or worse anywhere, and I have really searched for them. She goes into the litter tray, then gets out again - not afraid of it at all. As far as I know was using tray fine at RSPCA and at previous owners. Its placed away from her food (she is eating and drinking fine), but it might not be the same cat litter as they were using.

Any ideas? Should I be worried.?

Cats like to be left alone to go to the loo, is the tray in a secluded place? If you are watching her or talking to her when she gets in the tray it might put her off. Try and find out what litter she had before if you can.

Update -
She has been..... and had quite a relieved little look on her face!

As relieved as the look on yours? Grin
I used to have a cat who hid her poo. Found a jobbie in each of a new pair of trainers once...
