4 year old cocker spaniel - couldn't do stairs Thursday night but was walking ok. Then this morning she could t walk properly on her back legs. For her to the vet and they have said it's a slipped disc - lots of painkillers and strict rest. I have got to carry her back end with a towel to help her toilet.
im now home and she can't lay down so I've propped her up on my bed with pillows. She's pa thing and clearly uncomfortable and stressed. I've phoned the vet again and she said it's because she's in pain and can't get comfy but she'll settle.
it's horrific - I'm beside myself - her constant quick panting tells me she's so stressed 😩
