Will my pet insurance be invalid?

my dog is 7 and I’ve had the same insurance since he was a puppy, just let it roll over each year. We’ve been very lucky that never had any health issues and never had to claim. Now he has a health issue and I think I need to take him to the vet.
just checked documents and it says he’s not neutered, which was done a few months after we first took out the insurance, I never thought to update it. Is this likely to mean my insurance is invalid does anyone know?

Probs not an issue if not related, mind you insurance will find any excuses not to pay out I just went through it!
Hope they pay you and your dog is better x

Nah probably not if it’s unrelated. If anything, neutered dogs are lower risk so you’ve probably been paying over the odds.

No it won't but it can change your premium, not by much I would imagine. Just update them, they will need the details they hold to match the vet records It's things like this or a different postcode on the policy that can delay claims being processed.

No, I wouldn’t worry. Just update it now.
