My puppy, Rosie, is 6 months, almost 7 months old, and has been fine with thunder the previous few times it's happened, and was fine with it when I played some videos on YouTube. But last night, or early this morning to be precise at 4.10 am, she cried a bit. I didn't go to her and she settled back down. Or so I thought, but 5.50am she was up again, much louder and more persistent, so dh got up and she had wee'd in her crate/bed :( She's not done that ever since she has been with us, and not had any accidents in the house for months.
She currently sleeps in our spare room which is next door to us. I am just wondering the best way forward with this to help her if we get some more. I will go to her as soon as there is anymore, and we are about to move her crate into our bedroom as are having some building works done and our dd needs to move into the spare room temporarily. But Rosie being in our room might become a long term thing. We had our previous dog in our room for the past 7 years before we lost her. She was also totally ok with thunder and fireworks, and would wander around outside in it, but I know people who have dogs who are terrified and I really don't want her to be.
