Does your yorkie move?

Does anyone else have a yorkie that is unbelievably lazy? He may aswell be a cat haha. We walk him for about 30-40 mins in the morning and then he literally sleeps all day and night. Gets up for the odd snack and when I force him to go for a wee.

Given the choice he’d skip the walk and lay in bed all day is anyone else’s this lazy lol

I have two & one is just like that. Her favourite place is on my knee, asleep, next best is a comfy cushion on the sofa. She never moves apart from meal times when she’ll take a leisurely walk to the kitchen, or if she needs to go out for a pee. Start to go for leads & she vanishes…literally. I’ve lost count of the weird places she’s found to hide. Hunt the Yorkie!! She is not a old lady, she’s five.
Her litter sister is the exact opposite, she’s never, ever still except I her bed at night. Her favourite hobby is haring into the garden & barking at anything that moves, birds, butterflies, leaves. Good job no neighbours.Go for the leads & she goes bananas with excitement, a screaming whirling dervish. How they came out of the same womb defeats me.

I have a Yorkie cross, yes she doesn’t move, the weekends tire her out because the kids are off and she spends the week recovering! She literally doesn’t move from 8am to 4pm when we come home. She has the best life!!

Yes! Both of mine are lazy!

God I wish! Mine needs 2-3hrs of walks a day. He’s a menace. Adore Yorkies 🐾❤️
