I think I may have to say goodbye to my lovely 14 year old schnauzer today. He has gallbladder problems and a heart murmur and last night was in so much pain, we took him to the vets for pain relief. He is currently having a scan, but the emergency vet said last night that due to his heart murmur lots of treatments would be unavailable to him. I never wanted to see him as distressed as he was last night. You know this day will come, but boy does it hurt. His little face last night was heartbreaking.
