Anyone considering Many Pets insurance for a dog?

Is anyone considering Many Pets insurance as I just realised my referral link gives us both a £50 Amazon voucher if anyone is interested. I wish I had had the same when signed up !
personally I think I'm only going to insure for the first year or two and then put emergency vet money aside instead as our older dog has still not needed a vet really. But I like having the cover for our younger one for now just in case.

I insured most recent dog with them as it was a good deal. But the premium shot up so I swapped to another insurer after only a year, with no claims. Very disappointing.

Surely an older dog is more likely to need the insurance? Only downside to many pets for me is the co-payment, I’m going to look elsewhere for my next pet (pre- existing so I can’t move insurer really).

We are with Many Pets. Be warned - our premium started at £25 per month, we are now paying £140 per month six years later. Unfortunately our dog has allergies and so we can’t switch to any other insurers due to pre-existing conditions. So they have us by the balls - continue to pay £140pm or have him uninsured 😭

Thanks for the replies .
That is shocking when premiums go up that much and are any insurers transparent about this ? Ours have stayed the same so far .

you may be right about our older dog but hers went up hugely with another insurer and we've since saved a lot by just setting money aside for her and she's only needed the vet for routine worming etc.
I felt our young one might be more accident prone but so far she's been great!! And I get 20% back for not claiming every year I think .

I was with many pets for yrs no issues until I claimed on it and waited 8.5 months to be reimbursed for nearly £1000.
Apparently not that uncommon .
I was very shocked by this did receive an apology but only got that and the money after starting to put it on their social media .
Will never use them again
