Freeze Dries vs Raw

A quick question. I hear a lot that dogs on raw food have smaller, firmer, less smelly and less frequent poos. Would this also be the case with a high quality freeze dried dog food such as James and Ella / Marleybones?

thank you

What works for one dog won’t necessary work for others. Some people’s dogs respond wonderfully on raw, and other people’s dogs don’t…

I have five dogs, three get incredibly loose and frequent stools on raw. But if I try the two who do have raw on the food the other dogs have, then they get loose and frequent stools.😂

I've never used 'normal' raw, but ours is on freeze-dried raw (Nature's Menu, which is the only one she likes) and has lovely firm regular poos, much better and more regular than when she was on wet food.

Going to try either Years or Marleybones first and see how he does. 20% less meat than raw but hearing decent things and want to avoid the defrosting and hygiene elenement
