Dog with possible liver shunt

Does anyone have experience of a dog with liver shunt? My dog's blood tests were abnormal and the vet has referred him for ultrasound to check for this. Anyone had this? or dog's with liver problems in general? We had gone to the vets for behavioural support

Just to say a big well done for starting with a vet trip for behavioural issues. So many people try to train when actually their dog is sick. Really hope you get some answers soon and he feels much better x

I'd say don't worry about it at this stage. I went down this path, very far, to find out there was nothing wrong. Try not to reach any conclusions until there is a definite diagnosis.
