Advice on feeding a nine-year-old lab with frequent morning reflux

What would you suggest feeding a 9yr lab who has started having frequent episodes of reflux most mornings. Lots of noisy swallowing, lip smacking and some reverse sneezing. This can go on for an hour or so
He's on Millie’s which is dampened with warm water
Also has a few Shape biscuits before bed so he's not starved over night
My other Lab is absolutely fine on it
Any advice?
Tia

My dog's acid reflux was caused by a diet too high in fat, it turns out she can't tolerate too much. Once we cut the fat down her symptoms improved. I believe food intolerances can also cause acid reflux in some dogs.

Winalot biscuits (I assume that's what you mean by Shapes) are pretty awful quality - I would give him something much healthier/more natural and see if that helps.

Have you had him checked at the vets? We had to give our spaniel supper to prevent sickness mainly bile in the early hours but he has some of his kibble.
Lip licking/ smacking can be a sign of epilepsy in dogs.
