Seresto collar for a puppy: wear it with the normal collar?

I've been recommended to use a seresto collar for my puppy. I've looked online but silly question, do they wear these with their normal collars or do I out his dog tag on the seresto collar?

I wouldn’t use those. Loads of info online about pet deaths.
CBS report from 2022 that out of 34 million collars sold in US, there were 100K “incidents” and 2500 deaths.

Canada banned them.

Have a google and decide if you want to risk your pet.

They wear a normal collar as well as the Seresto one.

Yes, they wear both. I’ve been using them for years on two different dogs and they’re great.

Yes, with the normal collar. My spaniel has worn one, March to the end of October, for 12 years. Ticks were an utter nightmare before. With these he's perhaps had three that I have spotted creeping in his fur but none attached. Brilliant things.

Thank you for your replies, I will be a new dog owner soon so I have lots to learn and ask. Thats good to know about wearing both collars and hhe fact they work but I will do research on them too before making any firm decisions.
