my dog, and also my ds dog,
cannot see where we are going at all, small dogs, but every single time we are in the car, as soon as we get within say 200 yards or so, they stand up and shake
amazing. sense of smell i guess?

It doesn't matter where we're going, be it somewhere usual or somewhere for the first time, my also small dogs just know when we're close to pulling up. Not as we're pulling up, not after we've slowed down, just yeah, I'd say similar distance to yours! One does a kind of excited whine like he's suddenly desperate to get out and the other will pop his head up to look out of the window. No idea how they know, but they do! Would love to know what goes through their heads! We go anywhere from coastal walks, forest walks, just general path walks... There's no rhyme or reason to it.

No matter if it’s a 10 minute drive to the vet, or a long drive to the beach my dog throws up just as we reach our destination. Every single time.
