My 14yo jack russell cross has become very sensitive to being touched following being diagnosed with vestibular disease :(
Can anyone recommend a dog coat that is very easy to put on - she has one that goes over her head (which she seems ok with) and is easy to clip on, but it's not waterproof. She's also got a (very expensive) one that kind of goes under her but she hates me fiddling around with it and gets a bit jumpy.

Ours is Animate brand. Strangely, I can't find a website for the actual brand, only 3rd party sellers. We bought ours from a local, independent pet shop but it seems you can buy them from amazon, ebay and lots of online places.

My dog is an 8kg poodle X and wears a 14inch one in raspberry colour. It has a little collar which can be flipped back or forward to cover the neck. Its waterproof, breathable, has reflective strips and British. Hers has 2, wide velcro straps to fit in place. Nothing over the head because the coat is flat until you strap it on. It does have little, elastic straps if you want to tether it to the back legs or tail, but we never use these and its never fallen off. She runs off lead at the beach daily, and we've had it about 3mths and still going strong.

I've just realised that the coat I have and posted pics of, looks almost identical to the link SpanielsGalore showed! Raspberry must be a popular colour 😆

OP- I love your username.

@7238SM I thought that when you posted yours. 😂 I think the only real difference is one's padded. Mine is actually yellow. Like you, I bought it from a pet shop in town, and the Amazon link was the only one I could find on line.

Equafleece are very good, water repellant rather than waterproof though but machine washable. https://www.equafleece.co.uk/home
We had pne for our elderly springer that just popped over her head and clipped at the side

These keep my dog nice and dry. The will add a zipper along the back if you ask them too!

Thanks- we’ve got one, and they seem ok if it’s not heavy rain. I’m after something a bit more waterproof but the same type of simple fastening

https://ezydog.co.uk/products/element-jacket very happy with the Ezydog coat. Goes over head then clips either side. Very waterproof.

Fab thanks! Looks perfect!
