Does anyone else’s dog get SAD?

Honestly this fucking weather at the moment, my boy hates getting wet (even the mention of mud sends him running) at best of times

We do indoor games and training, but it’s just relentless and he’s so miserable (so am I 🙈)

What can I do to cheer him up?

Yes, our dog definitely seems down in the cold wet months. They're affected as much as us by this miserable weather!

Oh my goodness yes, he's a small dog with not much fur on him so hates the cold ( he has a decent waterproof coat) but it's still miserable. Sometimes we literally go a few yards from home and he's had enough.

He's also started refusing to step off the patio onto the grass as I assume it's too cold and wet.

We do sniffing games at home which helps.

Ridiculous really that we have a dog that hates the rain in the UK but there you go!

Absolutely. She 14 years old, small breed, has a thick coat and really doesn't mind the rain when she's in the garden with a raincoat on but I draw the line at walking far in the driving rain.

And yes, she's spending far too much time asleep and doesn't really want to play. She just seems a bit down. And to be honest, so am I. We're both missing our walks.

In the garden she's started digging up the leather jackets in the grass/mud so comes in with her paws caked in mud.
