Who do you use?

I used to find Iceland reasonable. The 3 packs of diced lamb/beef for £12, the boned portions, the unsmoked white fish but now it seems not so great value for money.

I mean, I know dogs aren’t but maaaaaan…..

ProDog Raw is so expensive.

Raw Menu only deliver randomly with seemingly no set schedule so can’t be relied upon.

I can’t get to the supermarket easily & even with delivery it adds up.

There must be a more cost effective way?
I bulk out with veg defrosted fruit.

Healthy weight.

The dried market has been exhausted even shipping in products from Europe and raw is the only way to go.

Any recs?

I feed a mix of ProDog and Southcliffe, I have a local raw food shop but there are online suppliers of Southcliffe that deliver. I also add some bone free dog mince from my local butchers. Large dog, averages about £3-4 per day to feed.

The dogs butcher is who I primarily use now.

Look for a local raw dog food shop if you can. I am feeding my dog "runcorn raw" which is local for me Although our local food shop stocks all sorts but i'm paying around £25 for ten days for a 40kilo dog so I think that's really cheap. He won't eat the more expensive richer stuff, it makes him ill.

I use budget brands Bulmers chubbs and Durham Animal Feeds now for 80/10/10 minces.

Durham you can order online.

My boy has tried every brand going & his favourite ,at least the one he eats with most enthusiasm is just natural , I get from a local supplier but I believe it’s based in Scotland ( we are SE England ) . Local independent stockists are definitely the way forward
