After the devastating loss of my beautiful and beloved 4 yr old GSD before Christmas I have a hole in my heart.
I thought about fostering a dog as I’m still grieving and struggling a bit.
However, dd sent me details of a lovely GS bitch who needs a home and is struggling in kennels.
We’ve had the meet and greet with my very old dog and it went really well.
Hopefully by Thursday I will have opened my heart and home to another dog to love.
I know it won’t necessarily be straightforward but I’ve had several rescue dogs over the years so I’m not worried. I am EXCITED!
My lovely boy would want me to be happy and I think this dog will give me happiness. And fur, lots of it, like tumbleweed. And paw prints ——
