Poisonous plants in my garden and little doggy

I love gardening and spent several years establishing plants for each season and we got our little puppy and I realise lots of them are poisonous to dogs!!!

Do I need to rip them out? It's a pretty chunky list of poisonous plants for dogs.
What have others done in this situation?

A lot of what is listed as poisonous actually have to be ingested in fairly large quantities to be an issue.

I made sure we didn't have anything that was really poisonous and supervised when tiny but didn't worry about a lot of things that are technically poisonous e.g. ivy

If they'd have shown any inclination of eating plants I might have removed them if worried but they weren't interested.

We dug up ours and planted non - poisonous plants. No biggie.

Agred with this.

Supervise whilst small and if you establish you have dog that has the inclination to eat plants then switch them out.

I just supervised when he was small, but apart from yanking out dead iris leaves and debudding my camellia he wasn't interested.

Yeah I worried about this but my dog shows no interest. Sometimes he eats grass but that’s it.

I have ivy and foxgloves, possibly other poisonous things but the dog has shown no inclination to eat any plants .

This would never occur to me, I'd wait and see what sort of doggy you have. None of mine had done more than eat the odd blade of grass.

We didn’t have to dig our plants out, our puppy did that for us, we watched him all the time, he didn’t eat any, just pulled them out.
