What to feed recently spayed bitch

We’ve just had our 7mth old girl spayed, and have been told to watch her weight, and to feed her food with less calories as she’ll now be more prone to weight gain now.
We’d like to continue with our mix of kibble & wet food, so what brands have other people used? There’s so much out there! Vet says she’s overweight already (not fat fat, iyswim, but chunky). She’s a staffy cross (Lord only knows what with) and 23.8kg as of yesterday.
Thank you!

If she's doing well on the food she's on, I'd continue with it but feed smaller portions.

I didn't change my bitch's food when she was spayed and she hasn't gained weight. She has Country Kibble, which is around 11% fat.

Just feed smaller portions and watch the treats!

And my adult Labrador is only 23.5kg...

Reduce the food by a third as she's currently overweight and add boiled veg to bulk it out.
When she reaches her correct weight increases by a tiny fraction so she's eating three quarters of what she's having now

Blimey a third is a bit harsh. I would cut down food by 10% to start with.

Slow her eating down so use a slow feeder bowl or a sniffy mat to make mealtimes feel a bit longer.
