My dog has a small injury on his paw. My cousin in a vet tech and told me to keep it clean and dry. My boy isn’t licking it or anything and seems unbothered. Just hoping for a second opinion.

Just keep bathing with boiled water with salt dissolved in it (let it cool down first)

Don’t let dog lick at it.

Thank you so much for your quick response. Yup, we are doing exactly as you described. The collar of shame has been brought down from the loft and will be placed on him should my boy start licking. Thankfully he is not interested right now.
