Pug insurance

I have a castrated 4yo pug and we want to get him insured. Until now we have saved money every month in the event he needed the vets but apart from his annual jabs and the time he ate a grape, he fortunately hasn’t required any treatment. He thankfully has never shown any distress with his breathing and the vets have never raised any concerns in that department either.

Ive heard so many conflicting stories about companies that I really need some experienced pug owners help! I don’t want him to have say a tooth removed and then two years down the line require mouth surgery for something totally unrelated, only to find they get out of paying for being “pre-existing”!
