Experiences of Japanese spitzes as a family dog

We’re thinking of getting a dog in the next couple of years and our dream breed is a Japanese spitz. Does anyone have any experience with them, especially with a small child?

My friend has German Spitz and they are very vocal.
Good with kids though

I hate dogs, but i actually love these dogs!

I have a Japanese Spitz and would recommend chatting to other owners online and attending JS meet ups to see them in person, so you can get to know the pros and cons of the breed, we adore ours but it depends what you are looking for in a family dog.
