What toy should I get my dog?

He's a small dog, Pomapoo (cross miniature poodle with Pomeranian). He has a very big stuffed duck toy that he likes to rag around - and then hump. He also gets excited by a thrown, screwed-up piece of paper with a treat to find inside. Both have disadvantages. His humping is serious, often culminating in a fully extended penis that he has to recover from (with bulbous tip ready for a tie) - even though he is neutered. No ejaculate that I can see. His ripping up the paper leaves quite a mess on the carpet.
So I would like to get him something he can rag, but not hump excessively, and something to hunt/catch/rip that doesn't leave too much mess.

Maybe something like a squeaky caterpillar/snake? My whippet has a few of these and they're her absolute favourites because she can shake them around to "kill" them and they flap satisfyingly. Can't comment on the humping aspect though I'm afraid 😬

There are lots of puzzles that you can get for dogs that you can hide wee treats or bits of kibble in and they have to work out how to get them, also some that you can put treats inside that will roll around and they push them around the floor with laws or nose & the treats drop out for them, keeps them busy for a wee bit , hide and treat I think they're called. Maybe some smaller plush toys that he can't hump but he can fling around & they still squeak or crackle ?

I just remembered there 's some toys called tearribles or something like that, they have Velcro limbs so they can tear them off and you just stick them back together again so they can keep going. I don't know how much they cost you'll have to Google

Yes and very cuddly and affectionate. Never bites (though licks hands excessively), doesn't shed which is amazing. You can see the poor long-suffering yellow duck on the floor - nearly the same size as him.

Perhaps a rubber toy would be less likely to "get him in the mood" than a fluffy, cuddly toy?

My dog's favourite toy is her rubber chicken. It squeaks and she likes to "kill" it by shaking it vigorously.

Mine have a selection of toys, but both adore the Kong teddies (Teddy likes flying lessons around the room, and sometimes ends up hiding behind the air fryer, etc, when I'm at work). They also like the hard, squeaky rubber balls from B&M.
