@TheHungryHungryLandsharks he has to be fair, he doesn’t actually bother me all that much while I am working. Probably just a couple of times a day. When he does come over and it’s not a good time I can bat him away and off he goes.
He has learned that if I eat food sitting on the sofa, he won’t get any so he ignores me. I definitely should have taken the tip from you not to ever give him bits of food if eating at the table or my desk 😂 I could have had a lab that doesn’t have a little tantrum if he doesn’t get a bit of toast crust. You live and learn I guess! I can sit on the sofa and eat a whole pizza, a sausage sandwich and he won’t bat an eyelid. Silly me 🤦‍♀️

Our previous girls would have loved mantrailing, particularly Rosie. Brie, on the other hand, is far too lazy.

I'm currently sitting here, holding her onto the sofa, because she got on and lay down facing the wrong way - that is, with her paws against the back cushions, so she's in danger of rolling off.

@VanGoSunflowers ahh it's easy to look back and think 'oh I should have done that.' I still do that with all of mine 😀Tbh i think Pablo sounds like a bit of a gem...don't suppose you fancy a swap? Eris is a lovely little dog...a really good girl. Promise.😂

I know I'm probably going to burn in the fiery pits of hell...but I REALLY hate people who park half on the pavement on a main road because they're worried about their car being hit by the traffic and take great pleasure in having Twatdog piss on their cars wheels. Twatdog is a good boy. The best boy.

@TheHungryHungryLandsharks how about I take her off your hands for a while and she can play endlessly with Pablo 😂 he would lose his mind with excitement at the thought of a play mate 😂 she may come back to you with some bad habits though 😂

Our walk earlier was a busy one! One guy with an off lead Rottie who went bounding over to another dog who was on lead. Cue the guy shouting to try recall his dog in a way that is far too familiar to me and the little dog he went to play with giving him almighty hell! It was a very busy walk in a field that’s usually very quiet. Fortunately we managed to avoid any incidents and P was a very good boy today. I did feel sorry for that man, he looked like he was trying to train his dog, but his dog had other ideas. Made me feel a bit less stressy about P 😂

We had a weird walk. It was another wet day so we opted to do a pavement walk rather than going over the squelchy wet fields. Brie just could not be arsed. I've never known a dog be so reluctant or unenthusiastic about going for a walk. She was dawdling along, yawning, as if daydreaming of a comfy sofa. I swear she thinks she's a cat, not a dog.

I share your pain over bad parking @TheHungryHungryLandsharks It gets very bad in our village, people are continually told not to block pavements but still do.

Glad Pablo was a good boy for you today @VanGoSunflowers and it was someone else's turn for their dog to have an off day.

If any of you would like to trade an energetic pup for the worlds laziest dog please let me know.

@VanGoSunflowers In seriousness though, can you imagine the sheer chaos Pablo and Eris would get into. She has this horrible knack of just winding every other dog in her vicinity up. Your poor boy would be running away from her in minutes - he wouldn't have the time to teach her bad habits as he'd be to terrorised by her winky sucking ways!

I must be the only one who has had relaxing walks today (minus the parking on the pavement incident)! @CoubousAndTourmaIet it drives me bonkers. Particularly as the road near there switches from 30mph to 60mph, so you get people accelerating in the 30mph zone which is where these dickheads park. But Twatdog gave them what for.

Does anyone else just have an irrational hate of certain TV characters/the actors? I'm still watching Chicago Fire and every time the guy that plays Matt Casey comes on the screen I have this overwhelming urge to punch him in the face.

I am more desperate! Though his nobness was actually very sweet today. I did wonder if he was ill for a while, or someone had swapped him, then realised this is what normal dogs were like.

Then later he licked a postman on the forehead from a standing start, and I knew it was Bill (luckily it's a mutual appreciation society thing round here or we'd be in trouble). Pictured: waiting for a postie

@TheHungryHungryLandsharks They park right up to the bloody junction here. On double yellow lines but half on the pavement. Always massive expensive 4x4's, Audi's or Mercs. Yes, I live in the land of Footballers Wives, glossy high maintenance women and I'm a scabby old pauper. The only posh thing about me is my dog 😁

There are always tv people I want to punch in the face. With me at the moment it's Lily James. I hated her in War & Peace, I hate her just as much in Downton Abbey 😠 Sorry. I'm just a grumpy old woman.

Oh, my poor girl has just had a drenching on her bedtime toilet break. It took 4 big towels to dry her off. This rain is getting beyond a joke.

Perhaps if you shared her you could all take it in turns to experience toddler tantrums walks at a nice leisurely pace, and the joy of having a silent guard dog far outweighs finding an occasional Chihuahua sized ball of hair in your coffee 😁 As a bonus she's also a really excellent draught excluder!

@SpanielsGalore I think love for Kelly is universal…name me a man or woman who doesn’t find him sexy?! I once tried to convince myself DH looked like him, but then I opened my eyes 😂 the actor that plays Boden is also quite attractive and don’t get me started on the guy that plays Antonio Dawson or Chicago PD…

I shouldn’t objectify, I know. But gods the acting is so bad the only thing they have going for them is their looks. Reminds me a bit of the guy that played Angel in Buffy.

I dislike Lily James as well! And I hate David Tenant to the point where I can’t watch anything he’s in. Also not a fan of Hugh Grant or Jennifer Lawrence. It’s completely irrational, but their faces annoy me.

@Bupster Bills looking very handsome! I meant to ask, what’s he like with the Christmas tree? Or is he a good boy and ignores it?

Pouring here this morning, but out we venture. Hen and the winky sucker are off with DDs for a walk, and I will take the others ones. Then we have the joy of Satan coming for the day as my parents have to pack their car for holiday and she gets distressed if she sees its happening - so she’ll be here to cause me distress instead 🙄

@TheHungryHungryLandsharks Oh I don’t know, Pablo has that exact same knack. I’d be very interested to see who got bored of the other first 🙂 they’d be absolute chaos together I reckon! It would be entertaining though 😂

I can’t make my mind up about Jennifer Lawrence. I think she’s gorgeous but the ‘cool girl act’ is a little cloying for me. I had a very rude dream about Henry Cavill the other night which I enjoyed. Must be the reading of Quicksilver that’s doing it. I’ve cast Cavill as the main hero in my mind as he gives me the Witcher vibes.

@VanGoSunflowers Who hasn't had a rude dream about Henry Cavill? Even DDs (I am still trying to convince myself they're too young for boys...) think he's attractive!

Maybe I should read Quicksilver...perhaps another one for DD1 or is it too mature?

I think when I win this fight, and Brie lives with me, @CoubousAndTourmaIet gets her choice of any of my dogs (although I do think Eris would be the best choice...not that I am trying to foist off my most irritating dog or anything).

But yes, it's a straight swap! Victor gets Brie (and perhaps Bill depending on whether @Bupster is also up for relinquishing him for a few days) and Bupster/ C&T get their choice of the victors dogs. Or in your case, @VanGoSunflowers they have to split Pablo 50/50...although I am going to win 😁

Satan had already appeared when I got back from the walk. Sat in the front seat of DMums car, staring at me with her shifty little eyes, looking expectant and like she was really inconvenienced by the whole debacle. Sometimes I do wonder if that dog was a human in another life, her facial expressions are quite a sight...

I'm with you on the David Tennant thing @TheHungryHungryLandsharks found him irritating since his Dr Who days, he's too hyper and hams it up. Jennifer Lawrence just looks smug, like the cat that got the cream.

Brie will be disappointed to miss the holiday, but she'll be ready for collection in the New Year, nicely plumped up on veggie roast dinners and lots of cheese. Oh yes, don't forget to hide the cheese and the carrots when she comes to you. Her nickname is "Cheesy Breezy" with good reason 😁

Oh god, I had a kissing dream the other night @VanGoSunflowers involving a person I vaguely know (and who is very much younger than I am. Like half my age 😳) It's so embarrassing 😬 I have no idea where it came from, because irrespective of age, he's not my type at all, but now I'll think of it every time I bump into him 😧 I've almost forgotten what it is to have lustful thoughts, I'm at the point where a cup of tea is more appealing.

Hmmm.... If I'm honest, I'd do a straight swap for Bill, Pablo or TD @TheHungryHungryLandsharks but Eris might be a step too far. I could just be going from the frying pan into the fire and end up in conflict with her. I do seem to argue more with girls, not sure what it is but it's the same with cats. Freija really rubs me up the wrong way 🙄

I'll have to think. Is Eris a tomboy? Could I think of her as an Eric...? Like Brie as a Brian. Or is she a hideously girly girl like our Rosie, who was, frankly, a Barbie pink and sparkles kind of girl 😏 She and Sylvie were mostly referred to as Tank Girl and The Tart. S was combat pants and DM's. Brie, I don't know. I fear she might be the sort to go to Tesco in pyjamas and go straight back to bed with a multipack of crisps and a bucket of ice cream...😬

Satan is a cocker belonging to Landsharks mum.
Spaniels has three spaniels obvs. Known as N,P&K
VanGo is black Lab, Pablo.
Tizwoz is two female black Labs known here as Big Pup Little Pup
Nella has a Labradoodle called Midge
Bupsters Bill ❤is a cockerdor
Yorkshire Felix has black cocker boy, Vinny
BrushingBoots has a female black cocker referred to here as Pupsy
BackToLurk has a Staffy/Bully dog named Boo
Moose has the handsome Rundle who I think is an Aussie sheepdog...
I apologise for not knowing the breed of RumIslas dog.

And I'm the weirdo with Brie the Pyrenean.
