Pet wee deodorisers

Hi, exciting thread alert. Really need a recommendation for carpet deodorisers which work. My elderly dog has had a lot of wee and poo accidents lately and although we shampoo the areas, the carpet does honk a bit. Can I ask for names of stuff people have actually used successfully please as I am in despair.

I also have had used the one the previous poster linked - on cat wee and when one of the kids has an accident - works great

I recently posted on MN some tips with cleaning urine smells (in a discussion about an elderly cat weeing in a bathroom...a quick search will bring it up). This is sort of an unreluctant area of expertise for me and I'm happy to help.

The simple solutions stuff is great, we use the disinfectant for the garden and it works well.

Biological washing powder in water- saw the tip here and it works!
