Lots of dog owners will be dreading next Wednesday. Here's something that might help. DD (the dog owner of the family) discovered that her spaniel is a whole lot less stressed with fireworks if he can see them. Perhaps it's because instead of "just" mysterious banging, there is something associated with them.
So now she sits the dog in front of the window on 5th November, with the curtains opened. It's still not his idea of a great time, but he does seem to be far less frightened, so I thought I'd mention it in case someone thinks it's worth a try. (And I hope it isn't a case of "Duh, everyone knows that!") 🙏
