Allergy Test

Just received allergy test for my 4 year old boy.
Allergic to chicken, salmon, rabbit, lactose and white fish!! So that’s most food. Any recommendations for wet food that won’t break the bank please?

Allergy tests for food are actually really unreliable which is why exclusion diets are recommended to investigate possible food allergies.

This is 100% right, but if you do want to cut out those ingredients then it’s not that limiting. You can still get beef, pork, lamb, duck and venison foods.

What made you do the allergy test in the first place?

Have a look at Nourish pet food (wet/dry/treats/supplements) all online. Finally settled with them after 18 months of exclusion diet. Excellent meat quantity %, low ingredient count and grain free without the silly price. I avoid big brand and mainstream pet food as as lot of it (from a simple scan of the ingredients) is NOT what the label suggests. Ours are allergic/intolerant to grain, and severely to poultry, which is in EVERYTHING!

If you go on the All About Dog Food website, you can search for suitable foods. It's in the advanced filters - avoid ingredients.
Might give you a starting point. You can set a daily budget and type of food too.
