Dog friendly country pub between Milton Keynes and Bedford suggestions

Hopefully with a grassy area or woodland to exercise a dog as well?

We are meeting friends halfway and I need to bring my cockerpoo. She is on the small side, socialised and well behaved.

Has anyone got any recommendations for somewhere nice between Bedford and south of Milton Keynes that is in a country setting and has its own car park?

I’ve had a look on Google which has brought up a few pubs but I have no idea what they are actually like.

The Swan at Woburn Sands might be worth a look. It always used to be quite nice and dog friendly and it's well positioned to combine with a woodland walk. It's not a very up to date recommendation, as it's years since I've been. It doesn't have it's own car park but it used to be you'd get your parking refunded from the car park that's literally next door.

There's the Bell at Marston Moreteyne; there’s a lovely country park the other side of the A421, about a mile away. Park in the lane by Upper Wood End farm and you can walk for hours.
