Tesco dog food fermenting?!

Does anyone use Tesco dog food loaf in the tins?
I’ve been using it on and off for years without any issues but the last couple of months I’ve had tins that were fermenting so the tops were blown and just opened a tin from a new box which smelt so bad it made me gag, it had a bit of a fishy smell but seemed like it had gone off.
The jelly on top is sloppy and the food just doesn’t look how it used to.
I’ve obviously complained to Tesco and got refunded, but they are not interested in any follow up or why I wanted a refund which I don’t think is acceptable.
(I’ve tried my dog with better quality food, kibble, etc. but he hates them all and just wants his tinned loaf!)

Its usually when the tins have become damaged and the food is exposed to the air. It stinks!

I thought that at first, but the tins aren’t damaged or open, some are rusty on the bottoms so I do wonder if they aren’t being stored correctly.
