Canicross?

Does anyone here do canicross with their dog? I asked on the exercise board but confused someone I think 😂

I don’t but know several people who do! What were you wanting to know? ☺️

Why?

Just out of interest, just wondered if anyone else on MN did. I run with my sprocker and used to have a springer I did several half marathons with.

It’s becoming more and more common. Lots of people here run with collies, hounds, huskies and spaniels - I even know someone who runs with a tiny Pomeranian!

Yes I love having a friend with me on runs. Even though he’s like a demented SAS personal trainer and glares at me if I ever think about stopping 😂.
Pomeranian is an interesting one!

I run with my Bedlington terrier, but on occasion, we have had my neighbour's chihuahua come out with us. That was challenging!

Yes I started last winter with my springer. Go out with a local group every couple of weeks through winter and sometimes go solo. It's a lot of fun although my boy can be quite reactive on lead so I have to keep plenty of distance from the other dogs.
