Does anyone else’s dog attack the telly when animals are on?

I think it might be my labradoodle being thick as mince!
everyone he spots a dog on the telly he immediately goes and tries to boop my telly with his nose whilst barking!

It’s now turned into other animals such as a giraffe, tortoise and hyenas!

If you pause the telly he looks dejected but starts attacking again when he sees it moving again.

Tips to stop it are welcome x

Our dogs enjoy crafts, any doggy programme is avidly watched.
Middle lurcher pays particular attention to graeme Hall. He doesn't even blink. Just stares. It's quite disconcerting.

They don't bark at it though, they just watch it, all comfy on the sofa.

My dog loves watching the rehoming programmes that feature lots of dogs, unless there is a dog whimpering when she tries to comfort them.

She hates when I have the phone on loudspeaker or when I’m on a zoom call because she can’t hear people but not see them, people on the TV don’t phase her though.

I’d love to know how her mind works

Yes,2 year old border collie.. also goes mad at the P and O , and EE adverts. Never had a dog before that's even vaguely intended in the TV.

No, but ours (less so now actually) stands by the back door when he sees a dog on TV, because he thinks it's a window to the garden. We have to let him out to see that there isn't a dog there, before he comes back in!

My cat likes close ups of meat on Master Chef! He watched a documentary on tigers, intently for 45 minutes! He will also launch himself at birds, as they fly across the screen!

His sister barely seems to notice what’s on!

Okay with animals, but hates the screen savers that comes on when we have Apple tv in.
