I'd love to show a picture of my freshly groomed dog but she has a habit of needing a bath within around 5hrs. She's a magnet for fox shit on groom days 🤣🙄🤢 loves muddy water on every walk 🙈

We're out for brunch at a really smart place and a weekend away today but I have to take her out in the pi$$ing rain for a walk first (and inevitably a muddy paw/leg wash after) 😩 the blow dry will all be ruined.

@OnlyHerefortheBiscuits yes, our first dog and he is exceeding expectations in every way. He's also on the large side for a golden - 29kg already at just 6 months old! I have checked with the vet that we're not overfeeding him, and no, he's just a big boy. So we are sharing our home with a mountain lion 🦁

@OnlyHerefortheBiscuits I don't bother grooming mine as I have too many, so I'm just here to say that your poodle is beautiful😍

Sitting up pic is a couple of hours post puppy groom, the laying down one is how he looks most of the time! Once he's 6 months he can have a trim, until then I have to smile at people shouting out of cars that I'm walking a teddy bear or a cloud.

I'm looking at the pouring rain forecast for the next week and contemplating a doggy raincoat cos drying him every night before brushing out is going to be a nightmare! Anyone got a recommendation? Legs or not? Hood or not?

@SnoopDougyDoug my boss in the US got a golden retriever puppy and we were all smitten. What could have only been a week later we all said "show us the puppy" on a call and he hauls up this absolute GIANT 😂 I cannot get over how quickly they grow

@widewomanofthevillage equafleeces are great, and despite the name "fleece" in the title keep your dog dry. They are more cold weather though, so a bit awkward in the September and April times...
