How do I stop the jealousy?

I’ve 2 dogs; a frenchie (7) and a staff (almost 2). The frenchie was with us first and then we got the staff from a puppy.
If I show the frenchie any affection, the staff becomes jealous, barks and tries to bite the frenchie’s leg. How do I stop this? I can never have a cuddle with my frenchie as my staffy is a jealous pup.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

You can train it not to do this. How do you otherwise discipline it? Surely there’s other behaviour that you needed to prevent with him, what did you do for that?

Best to start to instil boundaries now before he’s a fully grown dog capable of overpowering you and the other dog. Being possessive over you isn’t a good thing. Consider seeking professional help, I’m not sure how expensive professional training is but worth researching.
