New name for rescue dog

Rescued a dog that’s had a bad life and now loooking to give him a fab new name to start his new life but can’t seem to agree one one we all like? Anybody any ideas?

Firstly, well done for giving him a home. I hope you don’t mind me asking but is there something wrong with his name? It will confuse the hell out of him to change his name, especially as he’s not had a great life up to now.

I’ve kept all my rescue’s names as they were but understand why you’d want a change. They adapt very quickly, I use plenty of nicknames they’ve all responded to. Think we need a pic or to know more about the dog to help with names.

Rescue dogs are the best. I hope he settles quickly. If he knows his name, could you pick something that's similar in sound to make it easier for him to learn?

He doesn’t know his name tbh I don’t even know if he had one. He was rescued and nursed back to health by a charity. This is him he’s very quirky in real life but gorgeous

my rescue dog is named after a 90’s film . She is female though . I personally love a dog with a human name ! Can beat a dog with a solid name like Dave . But the first thing that jumped into my head was Buddy !

Ziggy is also a rescue, and also a Good Boy.
Zevon (😉) looks like he’s going to be a very Good Boy 🥰.

Oh my heart! He is a handsome lad looks a proper character. What about Charlie it is a sing songy name that he will catch on to.
