Any recommendations? Two pugs, they constantly are licking their paws, it's not fleas, I'm thinking over growth of yeast on the skin? Thanks xx

Urgh we have that problem with our pug too. It’s definitely not fleas but the constant licking shows that she must be uncomfortable.

I tried Nutripaw anti itch/immunity tablets on my itchy spaniel but 2 expensive tubs later made little difference in honesty. I changed their food in the end to grain free and touch wood that's made a massive difference.

Tablets won’t fix this. It’s likely due to diet.

Common triggers are grain, chicken, beef and root vegetables.

What is your dog currently fed?

If you want to soothe their paws while you try and figure out the cause, you can buy DOUXO S3 PYO Pads from Amazon that are anti-fungal. Or they do a foam version.

Start them on a good probiotic as well. Avoid ones that come as a ‘treat’, go for a powder.

We went through this and found our dog can’t have any fruit or veg and is now fed raw (no chicken or beef though).
