Poodle or doodle? (Lighthearted game)

So in the other thread about doodles many people claim doodles are cuter than poodles and doodles have a different look to poodles.

Whereas I am asked DAILY what my poodle is crossed with as no one seems to know what a poodle looks like anymore in not in a poodle cut.

Sooo lighthearted game of poodle or doodle!

Can you guess which of these dogs is a poodle or doodle?

Looks like a doodle so in this context it's probably a poodle!

No.5 (and it may well be the camera angle or lighting) there's a slight film on the eyes where in no.2 there isn't - hence my thoughts it the dog a doodle and not a poodle (and not thinking it was your dog at all)! 😀

I wouldn't have initially said that dog was a 100% poodle tbh, based on the overall shape and the colouring, but I believe that you are sure she is and am not here to argue with you regarding that. I think traditionally poodles often had a closer cut, and the slightly 'hairier' versions nowadays hide the characteristic slender aspect of them - which would agree with you saying her shape is only visible when wet. Also, if she is a puppy she might be more 'round' than her adult shape will be. She's cute either way.

Love it. I have two poodles and when peeps ask me if they crossed with anything.. I'm like..nah .. they just poos no cocker-poo or shitzpoo or anything.. just two wee little poos
