What’s your favourite long length winter dog walking coat?

I’m considering buying a Dry Robe. I don’t like the big waxed coats as I prefer something snuggly. I live on the edge of the Welsh mountains so we have endless rain and wind through winter. Want to be cosy and dry this year!

Dry Robes are currently about £175, so my budget is up to about £200.

I have a woodland green Seasalt Plant Hunter and I love it. I know that most people rave over Seasalt Janelle, and I bought both coats together, but I ended up keeping the Plant Hunter. The fabric felt more substantial and the coat is a better shape for me because it's not so straight cut.

I also have a Lighthouse Outback coat in black. It's not as warm as the Seasalt, but it's longer so I keep that one for heavy rain.

DH's dryrobe. (He's a genuine kayaker and has them for after races)
It beats every raincoat/barbour I have ever had.

I’ve bought a DryRobe. I didn’t take much convincing. I occasionally go paddling in the river with the DCs, so that counts as wild swimming, right? Very excited for it to arrive now.

Me neither 😂 but I want to be warm and cosy and I don’t care what I look like any more!
