I found this one of the most disturbing stories i've ever read.

Italian 'hero' sniffer dog killed with nail-filled sausages

Bruno, a seven-year-old bloodhound, had found nine missing people and was once honoured by Italy's prime minister.

I read this last night and it really upset me. It's just horrific. Such a gorgeous dog. Heartbreaking. What a world we live in.
