Leg biting

My chihuahua has started chewing his leg, don’t know why, can I put anything on to stop him.

I'd get it checked out by a vet. Our previous girl started doing this and it turned out to be an allergy to grass. It's like canine hayfever. The vet put her on antihistamines and it improved.

That’s interesting, thank you for that, I will take him to vet.

If it's only just started, try giving him a bath in case some kind of irritant from outside has got onto his fur.

My dog nibbles one one particular leg every now and then. Usually after a lot of fuss given to her is stopped. It's a bit like self soothing according to the vet.
