Vets in Cromer

Morning folks

Off to Cromer in a few weeks with the hound for his first holiday.

Hopefully we won’t need one but in case of an emergency can anyone recommend a good vets either in in Cromer itself or 10/15 minute drive away tops?

Glaven vets in Holt and Wells.

They don't operate an out of hours practice for those that aren't patients. They divert people to Fakenham.

Pretty sure they also don't see non-patients during the day either (they didn't last August).

I've been seen several times when in the area and my dog is registered elsewhere!

Interesting, as they've refused to see several people who stayed at my holiday let when we still took dogs! When did you last go?

Their website now says they don't run an OOH and divert to Fakenham 🤔

December 2022, before DH became disabled . But centralised OOH is fairly standard, even with independent practices.

@muddyford ah! That's probably it then, we last heard feedback in August 2024 and the person got a 'no, we won't see non-registered patients OOH.' So they probably changed since you were last there 😊

Yes, I know the centralised OOH is standard - but Fakenham is 40 minutes and I think there's a OOH in Cromer.😊
