We first noticed the behaviour a few weeks ago and took her to the vet, who diagnosed a UTI and put her on antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory. She continued with the behaviour so I took her back to the vet, who said her temperature was normal and could feel no signs of a UTI. We did a repeat prescription as a just in case, however the behaviour is still continuing. She doesn't seem ill or in pain. We have not had any accidents inside the house, it's just the constant tiny, drippy wees when she goes out. My fear is it is cancer and I am scared to take her for further tests. What should I do?

Much more likely to be recurrent uti or bladder stones. Go back to the vet with a fresh urine sample and they can check it for crystals etc. Not doing anything will not make the problem go away, but hopefully it’s an easily fixable thing .

You need the vet again. Take a sample if you can.

Sounds like stones. My 6 year old dog has just had her second op to remove some.
Neither time did she ever show signs of pain you’d have no idea unless you witnessed her struggling to pee.
my original vet treated her for UTIs numerous times over a 2 year period…, swapped vets and they found a huge stone as big as my thumb! She was lucky to survive that operation. This time there’s small stones that have been removed. She’s now on special diet for life.
