Go to the vet for some proper treatment. You'll need to completely treat your home, any other pets and clean all soft furnishings etc. as well.

Any one else? How did you manage it? Am feeling like it’s impossible!

I've very recently had this exact same problem and found treating all the soft furnishings and carpets a much bigger challenge than treating the dog!

The vet recommended Indorex Defence Spray for around the house, you can get it in pets at home or from your vet and it did really work but I was hovering up dead fleas for days on end.

Proper prescription application from the vets - sign up to a subscription and do it monthly. Get Indorex spray for the house. Vacuum EVERY DAY for at least a fortnight.

This. Nothing kills eggs so you have to “wake” them up and get them to hatch so the spray can work. That’s why it can feel it takes ages to work. Follow this advice and others saying get proper treatment at vets and you will sort it.

And put a flea collar in the Hoover bag, or change each time or the little bastards jump around in there. Hoover the skirting boards too, and mattresses. Wash everything! Hoover, Hoover, Hoover everywhere!

I,ve not actually seen a single flea and she wears a seresto collar. However, she’s biting at her rear end….. I’ve had a look through her very dense fur and the skin is red, with some dark specks which could be flea poo.
We are a bit restricted with which flea treatments she can have, and I’m a bit confused. Is it the same thing used to treat fleas that is used monthly for protection against fleas?
