Dog sick on steroids

I'm looking after a friend's dog while she's away. The dog is on steroids due to a cyst/sore on her face, which has been healing well. She's been completely fine until today when she's been sick twice and doesn't seem her normal self.

Normally if a dog vomits I would not feed for 24 hours. She does need to take her tablet in the morning, though, and I'm worried about giving her that without food.

Any advice on what I should or shouldn't be doing to care for the dog? She's a gorgeous little sweetheart.

Anyone? I'm worried about her. She's only little.

Has she eaten anything other than her normal food?
I wouldn't starve her. Bland feeding (plain cooked chicken, scrambled egg with nothing in it, plain boiled rice or pasta) is better. Small amounts more often than her normal meals.

I don't think so. She does tend to try to eat food off the ground though while we're out so it's possible she's eaten something she shouldn't have.

Okay, that makes sense. She's only little so I think it would be horrible to not feed for 24 hours. I'll give her a small amount of chicken and rice in the morning and see how she gets on.

Thank you.
