Hey all,

I recently adopted a shih tzu. She will not let me brush her teeth but she won't have dental sticks either. Help lol she went to rescue with tartar on her teeth and had to have a scale and Polish so I think previous owners had same issue ty

Have you tried natural treats? Fish skin cubes, rabbit or goat ears and chicken necks are all good for smaller dogs. My small dog has one of those a day (I adjust her meals to compensate on 'big treat' days).

I use canident which is a seaweed supplement that you just sprinkle on their food. The vet noticed an improvement in my 11 year old dog’s teeth.
Mine also like chewing antlers, which you can buy online.
