i am quite upset. Just come in from the bin area at the back of my property. Once again theres two big piles of dog poo. This is the third time its happened and we have no idea who is responsible . We back onto a street so it could be anyone although it is a dead end.

I feel utterly sick at the thought of having to clean it up ( DH did it last time but he’s not here!). If it was my own dog and do the “poo bag grab” but I dont think I can face that. Could someone please advise the best way of clearing it up ( its on gravel not grass).

Also, anything I can spray the area with to stop dogs from going there? I doubt it will be that simple but I’ll try anything . All advice gratefully received.

Filthy creatures ..the owners not the dog!!

No idea if this also works for dogs but we successfully stopped foxes peeing and pooing repeatedly in front of our house by squirting white wine vinegar (the cheap stuff you get from the supermarket) on the drive every night for about 2-3 weeks.

@BiteyShark Thanks. It’s worth a try. Ive looked on line and theres some products that claim to deter dogs but I wondered if anyone could recommend something specific. Currently working up the guts to go and clean it

Your council should have an online facility for reporting this. I'd flag it every time, and hope the dog warden is sent out to investigate, catch, and charge the culprit.

Disgusting, but this is typical.

I'd clear it up with gloves and douse the area in white vinegar. Can get large containers of it from Amazon.
